Natural Gas Transportation and Electric Energy Business:
Promigas has played a fundamental role in structuring the energy market based on natural gas in Colombia. The country went from having 1.5 million users at the end of the twentieth century to more than 11 million users in 2022 (almost 10 million new users in just over two decades) - a true social revolution through the massification of public services.
We transport 56% of Colombia's natural gas through more than 3,289 km of our own gas pipeline networks and those of our transporters, and we provide services for hydrocarbon producers and large industries, including compression and dehydration of natural gas, construction of gas pipelines and interconnection lines and energy solutions, such as generation, co-generation and self-generation.
In 2023 we connected 432,074 new users, more than 1.7 million people in Colombia and Peru, most of them belonging to strata 1, 2 and 3.

Through SPEC LNG we operate the only re-gasification terminal in Colombia that allows the country to connect with international sources of LNG, thus providing reliability to the national energy system.
With Promisol we are the strategic ally of producers for gas treatment, of industrialists through self- and co-generation services, and of gas transporters and distributors through the construction of their gas pipelines.
We develop and execute renewable energy projects, contributing to CO2 reduction by generating photovoltaic solar energy to offer our clients environmentally friendlier energy.

Natural Gas Distribution Busines | In Colombia we bring the electric energy distribution service to more than 450,000 users in 38 towns in the south of the country. We develop and execute renewable energy projects, contributing to CO2 reduction by generating photovoltaic solar energy to offer our clients environmentally friendlier energies.
