We have undertaken a due diligence process in order to set out a baseline that allows us to improve our performance in this area.
To achieve this purpose, we carried out a diagnosis which allowed us to understand our current situation in terms of human rights, and through which we gathered information relevant to the process and understanding of human rights in the context of Promigas.
Based on this diagnosis, we designed a tool in accordance with the UN Guiding Principles for Business and Human Rights that identifies process, threat, main human right, related human right, related party involved and control activity.
Applying the tool, we were able to determine the most vulnerable categories and risks in human rights and establish the related corporate processes, including:
Recommendations for the prevention, management and strengthening of risk management
Alignment with key initiatives: risk and audit model, SDG and Global Compact
Alignment with internal and responsible processes
As a result of this due diligence, we were able to determine that the risks of violation for Promigas are at medium and low levels.
